One Morning in Maine
Across from Bucks Harbor Market and behind Condon's Garage, Sally McCloskey will host a special story hour. Sally with read One Morning in Maine by her father, Robert McCloskey, much of which is set at Bucks Harbor Market.
Everyone is welcome as we try an unofficial "world record" now held by a library in Brunswick, Maine for the largest-ever story time with Sally McCloskey! Sally read One Morning in Maine at that library last summer and 225 people showed up.
The New York Times wrote about it with the headline "One Morning in Maine, 225 People Went to the Library"
We know Brooksville can do better than that, and we invite everyone to join us to break the record!
Blue Hill Books will sell Robert McCloskey books at this event
